I have been playing this masterpiece of a concerto for over almost 40 years, on countless concerts with orchestras from Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in the south to Warsaw Philharmonic in the north. My CD recording with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra was awarded the Roger Bobo prize for excellence in recording by ITEA (International Tuba and Euphonium Association).
